Unfair

Life is truly unfair. I've had that said to me thousands and thousands of times. It just isn't and in reality, it will never be. From our jobs and money, relationships and hopes, dreams and wishes, life decides to be against most of the time. We fight to try to make the best of it, live it and then move on to whatever we ourselves believe in and that's what it seems like. In fact, unfairness should be in the definition of life.

Like everything else though, life has loopholes that you will expirience. Like that chance you'll live and love. We've all been touched by love whether it was a marriage or relationship, from strangers who cared, or just from friends and family. I myself thought that life was totally pointless after losing my best friend since kindergarten. Then my best friend since third grade asked me out...that guy is now my boyfriend and I thank God for the loopholes in life. It's unfairness is lurking, but it's loopholes have so many flaws that once you find one, it'll last forever. I believe it is up to you how that loophole turns out.

Luck might also be a flaw of life. Your ability to win things after almost losing or escaping deathly expiriences until you are eventually lost. I think a lot of things moreso depend on your destiny or what you believe in and what I say should never alter your opinions, but that's what I really believe. You can't change destiny, but you can by hell fight to.

Either way, we are blessed and cursed throughout our life. Destiny and many things will alter and turn our paths on the less traveled road of life. Taking a risk doesn't harm because in the grand scheme of things, we are just small specks of a period of time that will be forgotten years when he next generations of our family live.

Just be thankful for life's loopholes, flaws, and ways to beat the system. Like everything else, life really is a game.

Perspective

It's funny how your views on life can change so quickly. It's like one day you're just sitting with friends at lunch and your like, "Holy crap! I'm lucky to be here!" and you don't say it, but you think it and thank quietly to God that you've got them. You hear about the homeless, the friendless, the people who can't be forgiven, and those who were lost and you tell yourself you're one Goddamn lucky person, and be thankful, to be who you are and not a total loser on the street. Even if you were or are, you have things to be thankful for...like being alive.

It's really funny how you read and see those who are less fortunate and reality snaps back into persepective. You can't shield yourself forever from the things that lurk out there in the real world, not the world that we know of that revolves around home and school where you will always be shielded by things that are viewed as "wrong" to the higher ups of our world like gay people and the war that is going to destroy us all.

The thing is, what do we learn from everything we expirience? Well, we learn a lot and what we learn isn't fully shared because death sweeps us away too soon. 100 years, if we live long enough, isn't enough to accomplish everything we'd like to do. Things accumulate over the years of what we'd like to do like be an actor, astronaunt, doctor, enviromentalist, and a super heroe. We don't have time to go back and try to desperately fix our mistakes because real mistakes can't be fixed, only learned from.

Perspective is something you have to play with your entire life until you know that you are fully happy with what you've done. It's something that you will view differently forever until death do we part everyone else and either go to an afterlife or are reincarnated into something else or someone else. Life is a journey and you have somewhat of a lead...don't let it conquer you yet.
