Unfair

Life is truly unfair. I've had that said to me thousands and thousands of times. It just isn't and in reality, it will never be. From our jobs and money, relationships and hopes, dreams and wishes, life decides to be against most of the time. We fight to try to make the best of it, live it and then move on to whatever we ourselves believe in and that's what it seems like. In fact, unfairness should be in the definition of life.

Like everything else though, life has loopholes that you will expirience. Like that chance you'll live and love. We've all been touched by love whether it was a marriage or relationship, from strangers who cared, or just from friends and family. I myself thought that life was totally pointless after losing my best friend since kindergarten. Then my best friend since third grade asked me out...that guy is now my boyfriend and I thank God for the loopholes in life. It's unfairness is lurking, but it's loopholes have so many flaws that once you find one, it'll last forever. I believe it is up to you how that loophole turns out.

Luck might also be a flaw of life. Your ability to win things after almost losing or escaping deathly expiriences until you are eventually lost. I think a lot of things moreso depend on your destiny or what you believe in and what I say should never alter your opinions, but that's what I really believe. You can't change destiny, but you can by hell fight to.

Either way, we are blessed and cursed throughout our life. Destiny and many things will alter and turn our paths on the less traveled road of life. Taking a risk doesn't harm because in the grand scheme of things, we are just small specks of a period of time that will be forgotten years when he next generations of our family live.

Just be thankful for life's loopholes, flaws, and ways to beat the system. Like everything else, life really is a game.

Sam,

You know who you remind me of? Anne Frank! (http://www.annefrank.org/content.asp?pid=1&lid=2)

You never give up and you always research live with ever increasing interest. That is why i never get tired of reading your essays here.

Now, about unfairness. As a follower of Karma Theory, i believe, that nothing in your life just falls on your head - neither good nor bad.

The life of your soul is a woven rug. But this Rug is really big. It spans ALL of your incarnations throughout time, space and the whole Universe plus all the dimensions that exist. Everywhere you were incarnated - you were weaving that Rug...

So, when you were born in this lifetime, you got to continue weaving this Rug. And there are threads, that you find in your life. Both of light and dark colors.

Now, we like them light, bright colors. And we never question those. We get a promotion or win the lottery and never say - "darn, that's unfair!" :) But when a dark one falls on us - boy, do we get upset :)

The thing is - we've chosen all of those colored threads ourselves, before we were born here again, to continue weaving the Rug of our Life. And these threads come from far, far away. Every thread you're holding right now in your hands started when your soul came to exist.
And that was eons ago.

This is your Life and your Rug. Whatever comes your way was already chosen by you for you. There is no right or wrong, no fair or unfair. It's just a choice.

And you can change that choice any time. Because this is your Life and your Rug :)
